What this is
Our 5-axis router reaches the faces a flat-bed machine cannot, so shaped and angled parts are cut in one go rather than being pieced together. Less handling means tighter joints and a part that fits first time.

Sheets cut on the beam saw, nested for yield.

Machined and drilled
Routed, drilled and grooved on the 5-axis and vertical CNC machines.

Edged, veneered, assembled
Tape applied and pressed work bonded before the bench builds it.

Sprayed and delivered
Finished in our booths, checked, wrapped and brought to site on our vans.
Questions we are asked
Can you machine my own laminated blanks?
Yes. Send them with a datum face marked and we work from that.
Do you do one-offs?
We do. Set-up is the bigger part of the cost on a one-off, so we tell you up front what a small run would cost instead.
What is the largest part you can machine?
3,700 × 1,850 × 300mm on the bed. Larger pieces are machined in sections with jointing cut in.
How long does 5-axis work take?
Usually 5-8 working days for shaped work once the file is approved, because programming and proving take longer than flat work.

Prices and dates for 5-axis cnc services
A set of six curved wardrobe doors machined from laminated MDF. That is a guide taken from work we have actually run — your own price for 5-axis cnc services is confirmed in writing once we have the sizes or the drawings, and the date we give you is the date we hold.

What we need, what you get
Send sizes, materials and the finish you want — drawings in any form, or photos and a few measurements. Back you get a fixed written price, a date we hold to, and the work delivered to site on our own vans from our workshop in Croydon.
Machining, finishing and assembly all happen in the same building, so nothing waits on another supplier and nothing gets damaged being moved between them.
