Hardwood and softwood machined to your section list. We can work from a profile drawing, a sample of an existing moulding, or the sizes written on the back of an envelope.

- Selected stock — Boards picked for grain and colour when the run is on show.

You send a DXF, a model or a sketch. We redraw if needed and price it in writing.

Board cut to size
Sheets cut on the beam saw, nested for yield.

Machined and drilled
Routed, drilled and grooved on the 5-axis and vertical CNC machines.

Edged, veneered, assembled
Tape applied and pressed work bonded before the bench builds it.

Sprayed and delivered
Finished in our booths, checked, wrapped and brought to site on our vans.
Questions we are asked
Can you match a moulding in an old house?
Usually yes. Send a 150mm offcut and a photograph of the run and we will confirm before quoting.
Do you supply timber?
Yes, and it is listed separately on the quote so you can compare it with your own supply.
Can you match a moulding from a Victorian house?
Send a 100mm offcut and we grind a cutter to the profile. New sections then sit against the old ones without a step.
What sections can you machine?
Up to 230mm wide and 100mm thick through the moulder, in softwood and most hardwoods.

Prices and dates for timber machining
A house set of skirting and architrave machined to your profile. That is a guide taken from work we have actually run — your own price for timber machining is confirmed in writing once we have the sizes or the drawings, and the date we give you is the date we hold.

What we need, what you get
Send sizes, materials and the finish you want — drawings in any form, or photos and a few measurements. Back you get a fixed written price, a date we hold to, and the work delivered to site on our own vans from our workshop in Croydon.
Machining, finishing and assembly all happen in the same building, so nothing waits on another supplier and nothing gets damaged being moved between them.
