What this is
A bespoke kitchen is not a standard kitchen with a filler in the gap. We measure the room, draw it, make every cabinet to suit, spray it in our own booths and fit it ourselves, so there is one team to answer for the result.
- Designed with you — Two or three drawings, changed until the layout is right.
- Built to the room — Every cabinet sized to the wall, so nothing is packed out with filler.
- Sprayed, not brushed — Colour matched and booth-cured for a flat, hard finish.
- Fitted by us — Our own fitters, with a snagging visit built into the price.
Styles we build
Any kitchen style, made to your room
Nothing here is a fixed range. These are the looks people ask for by name, and each one is drawn to your walls, sprayed in our booths and fitted by our own joiners.
Shaker
A five-piece door with a flat centre panel. The safest choice in a period house, and the one most people mean by classic.
In-frame
Doors sit inside a face frame rather than over it. Slower to make and the most exacting to fit, with the tightest shadow lines.
Slab and handleless
Flat doors with a rail or a routed grip instead of handles. Quiet, square and easy to wipe down.
Classic painted
Shaker or in-frame with mouldings, cornice and plinth added, plus a dresser or mantel over the range if you want one.
Timber and veneer
Oak, walnut or ash on the doors, lacquered rather than sprayed in colour. Often mixed with painted units below.
Mixed materials and islands
Two colours across the room, or a timber island against painted runs. Panelled ends and seating are drawn in at survey.

In our own workshop

Nothing is sent out to another workshop. Every stage below happens under one roof in Croydon, which is why the dates hold and the finish matches.
Board cutting
Your boards are squared and cut to the tenth of a millimetre on the beam saw, not on a hand saw on site, so doors line up and gaps stay even.
How we do itEdge banding
Every exposed edge is machine-banded with a glue line you cannot feel, so it does not lift in a warm kitchen or a steamy bathroom.
How we do itCNC machining
Hinge cups, shelf holes and jointing are cut by the router from the drawing you approved, so what is built matches what you signed off.
How we do itVeneer pressing
Real wood veneers are bonded flat in our own press, so a veneered island or wardrobe front stays flat for years.

Cabinetmakers build and dry-fit the run on the bench here, so problems are found in the workshop and not in your house.

Everything is sprayed in our own booths before it travels, which gives a flat factory finish you cannot get with a brush on site.

Questions we are asked
Do you take out the old kitchen?
Yes, strip-out and disposal can be included. It is listed on the quote so you can leave it out if your builder is doing it.
Can I use my own appliances?
Of course. Send us the model numbers early and we build the openings around them.
How much does a bespoke kitchen cost?
Most of ours land between £18,000 and £45,000 plus VAT for the joinery, sprayed and fitted. Worktops and appliances are separate.
How long does it take?
Around 8-10 weeks from approved drawings to a fitted kitchen, of which the fit itself is usually a week.

A medium kitchen with island, sprayed and fitted by our own team. That is a guide taken from work we have actually run — your own price for bespoke kitchens is confirmed in writing once we have the sizes or the drawings, and the date we give you is the date we hold.

Send sizes, materials and the finish you want — drawings in any form, or photos and a few measurements. Back you get a fixed written price, a date we hold to, and the work delivered to site on our own vans from our workshop in Croydon.
Machining, finishing and assembly all happen in the same building, so nothing waits on another supplier and nothing gets damaged being moved between them.
