HOMAG DRILLTEQ V-310 vertical CNC
Cabinet parts drilled, grooved and routed on a vertical CNC while the 5-axis runs shaped work.
What it does
Most cabinet work is drilling and grooving, and it does not need a 5-axis machine. The DRILLTEQ V-310 holds the part upright and works on it from both faces and the edges, so hinge, shelf and dowel patterns, back grooves and cut-outs are done in one handling. Because it takes up very little floor space and runs alongside the big router, straightforward work keeps moving in a busy week — which is what keeps our lead times short.
Key capabilities
- Drilling patterns — Hinge, shelf and dowel holes in the faces and edges without turning the part by hand.
- Grooving and sawing — Back panel grooves and cut-outs taken in the same programme as the drilling.
- Routing at any angle — An interpolating C-axis means slots and pockets are not limited to along or across the board.
- Batches of any size — From a single replacement part to a repeat run of hundreds.

Where it sits
The one that keeps the volume moving
Flat cabinet work is drilled, grooved and routed here while the 5-axis handles shaped jobs. Running the two side by side is why a repeat trade order does not sit behind somebody's curved reception desk.
Why trades choose us
The workhorse behind most trade orders
Drilling, grooving and routing all day, which is what keeps repeat cabinet work quick and cheap.
Worked upright, both faces
The part is held vertically and drilled, grooved and sawn from either side without being turned by hand.
Frees the 5-axis
Flat cabinet work stays here, which keeps the 5-axis clear for the shaped jobs that actually need it.
Cheaper per part
Simpler set-up and faster cycles mean flat cabinet work is priced as flat cabinet work.
