HOMAG EDGETEQ S-300 edgebander
Tape applied, trimmed and buffed so panels arrive ready to fit.
What it does
Edging by hand is slow and it shows. On the EDGETEQ S-300 the tape is glued, trimmed, scraped and buffed in one pass, with corners rounded, so the edge is tight and even along the whole length. Matching or contrast, in ABS, PVC or real timber lipping.
Key capabilities
- Tape range — 0.3mm to 3mm from the coil, and 0.4mm to 8mm in strips and mouldings.
- Finished edge — Joint trimmed, snipped, chamfer or radius trimmed, profile scraped and buffed in the same pass.
- Matched or contrast — Matched to your board, or a deliberate contrast edge.
- Any batch — A handful of doors or a full shopfit.
Where it sits
Straight off the saw, straight onto the edge
Cut parts come here the same day, so a panel is sealed before it has a chance to pick up damage or moisture. From here it goes to assembly or into the spray shop without leaving the building.

Glue, pressure and trimming happen in one pass, at the same temperature, on every panel.
A joint you cannot feel
Trimmed, scraped and buffed in the same pass, so the edge reads as part of the board rather than a strip stuck on it.
It does not lift
Proper adhesive under pressure survives a warm kitchen and a steamy bathroom, which hand-applied tape often does not.
0.3mm to 8mm
Thin coil tape for a flush look, or thick strips and mouldings with a radius where the panel takes daily knocks.

We hold the common ones and source the rest. Send the board reference or a small offcut and we will find the tape.
Do you edge before or after spraying?
Before. The edge is applied and cleaned up first so the finish covers panel and edge as one surface.

HOMAG EDGETEQ S-300 edgebander is one stage of a run that stays in the same building, start to finish.
- Stage 1
Drawings and pricing
You send a DXF, a model or a sketch. We redraw if needed and price it in writing.
- Stage 2
Board cut to size
Sheets cut on the beam saw, nested for yield.
- Stage 3
Machined and drilled
Routed, drilled and grooved on the 5-axis and vertical CNC machines.
- Stage 4
Edged, veneered, assembled
Tape applied and pressed work bonded before the bench builds it.
- Stage 5
Sprayed and delivered
Finished in our booths, checked, wrapped and brought to site on our vans.
