Makor robotic spray line
Primer and topcoat laid at a programmed film build, identical every panel.
What it does
Two spray arms follow a programme, so the amount of paint on the first door and the four-hundredth is the same. That is the difference between a run of doors that looks like a factory product and one that looks hand-painted in three different weeks. Water-based and two-pack systems both run on the line.

The last machine before it is wrapped
Flat fronts come off the CNC, are prepared by hand and go through the line for primer and topcoat. They are checked under a strong light, cured, then wrapped for delivery — all inside the same building.

Questions about the Makor robotic spray line
Is the finish as good as hand spraying?
On flat work it is better, because the film thickness is set by the program rather than judged. Shaped work is still sprayed by hand.
How many doors a day?
Several hundred flat fronts, which is why large sets do not hold up a fitting date.

One programme, start to finish
Makor robotic spray line is one stage of a run that stays in the same building, start to finish.

Colour and sample
Matched to RAL, NCS, Pantone or your sample, sprayed on a board for sign-off.
- Stage 2
Collected or delivered in
We collect locally on our own vans, or you drop it at the workshop.
- Stage 3
Prepared
Cleaned, filled, sanded and masked — the part of the job the finish depends on.
- Stage 4
Primed and topcoated
Robotic line for volume, hand booths for one-offs and assemblies.
- Stage 5
Checked and returned
Inspected under strong light, wrapped, then delivered or refitted.
